This is the first Vivo Y Series smartphone with a Dynamic Glass design, giving it a premium and stylish look. The glass material reflects light and creates a crystal-like effect on the back of the phone. It also comes with IP54 dust and water resistance.
The Vivo Y36 Series also boasts a 6.64-inch “Ultra-O” IPS LCD Screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The screen also has a peak brightness of 650 nits.
Performance
The Vivo Y36 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, built on top of a power-efficient 6nm process. As for the memory and storage, it is available in a single variant: 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android 13 with Funtouch 13 skin on top.
Camera
The Vivo Y36 has a dual camera setup on the back, which consists of a 50MP main camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The main camera has an f/1.8 aperture and supports phase detection autofocus (PDAF). Upfront you get a 16MP selfie camera on the front, which has an f/2.5 aperture and can record 1080p videos at 30 fps.
Battery and Others
The device gets its juice from a 5000 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. The fast charging feature can charge the phone up to 30% in about 15 minutes. The phone also supports reverse-wired charging.
